WHAT IS RANGER SCOUTS? AND WHO IS IT FOR?
Ranger Scouts is a youth program built upon the foundations that Lord Robert Baden Powell (BP) set forth in January of 1908 called "Scouting for boys".
We built upon these fundamentals adapting them for a co-ed group and tailored those teachings to be relevant to our time.
Ranger Scouts is a 3 part program for youths both male and female between the ages of 10-18. The first part of our program is to explore the outdoors and learn valuable skills that range from survival to protecting our natural resources.
The second part of our program is to teach youth actual life skills they should know when they become adults, how to perform automobile maintenance. Finances: budgeting for actual cost of owning a car or balancing a checkbook and even taxes to name a few.
The third part of the Ranger Scout program is to teach them about citizenship, patriotism, Community, Community service, Leadership, having a Moral compass, Self, Self esteem, Self discipline, Respect for themselves and others, Friendship and Family.
